The Medical Board of California will phase in its new regulations regarding CME which it approved in February. The new regulations require physicians to complete 50 hours (credits) of CME in two years instead of 100 hours (credits) in 4 years and link the audit to the actual licensure date instead of the calendar year. Effective date will be January 2009.
